OUR MISSION:

The RI Farm to School Network engages partners across Rhode Island to develop, expand and strengthen

local procurement, education and gardening initiatives to benefit children and youth throughout the state.

These initiatives connect local agriculture to healthy eating habits, which improve public health and the local economy,

support local farms and food producers, and build community relationships.

RI Farm to School Network supports the Rhode Island Food Strategy (Relish Rhody) that envisions a sustainable, equitable food system that is uniquely Rhode Island; one that builds on our traditions, strengths, and history while encouraging innovation and supporting the regional goal of 50 percent of the food eaten in New England be produced in the region by 2060.

RI Farm to School Network is a partner of the National Farm to School Network and supports its mission, values and vision.
